Effective Ways to Improve Your Website’s User Experience

Is your website producing the online results you were hoping for when you set it up? Many websites are not effective online marketing and selling tools because they are difficult to use and provide a poor quality user experience. Below are some of the ways you can address this issue and improve your website’s user experience.
Clean Design and Easy Navigation
When someone visits a website, they don’t want to spend too much time searching for the information they are looking for. This is why your website should have a clean design and it should be easy to navigate. This way, you will retain more of your website visitors and these people are more likely to sign up for emailing lists, read your content, and buy your products and services.
Easy Payment Process
If you sell products or services online, make it as easy and as secure as possible for your website visitors to buy from you online. A reliable shopping cart system and payment processing system like MPS will go a long way towards creating an easier to use, more reliable e-commerce system.
Responsive Design
Millions of people use their mobile phones to browse and shop online. Your website should be responsive and display properly on all kinds of mobile devices, as well as other types of devices such as PCs, laptops, and tablets, incorporating only the best web designs.
Your Website Should Load Quickly
Most online users are impatient and expect a website to load instantly. If this does not happen, these potential shoppers and customers will go elsewhere to find what they are looking for. A range of different factors can slow down your website, including the hosting provider you use, the CMS system you use, the theme or skin you use, and how well optimized your website is. Each of these factors should be checked to ensure that your website performs at its optimum level.
Provide Help Facilities
When a website owner provides a range of different help features on their website, it’s a clear indication that they care about their customers. As a website owner, you should take the same approach.
You can easily provide a wide range of help options including a ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ web page, live support, email support, a helpdesk facility, a forum, or a blog that addresses the concerns and queries of the people who visit your website.
Reward Your Website Visitors
Rewarding your website visitors has the potential to increase engagement on your website. For instance, you could hold competitions or give away something valuable when people call your website, subscribe to your list, or interact with your online business in some other way.
It’s no longer good enough to simply develop a basic website and hope that your website visitors will purchase your products and services. Instead, you have to make their visit a pleasant and fulfilling experience. If you can achieve this, more people will want to visit your website, and more of these people will eventually become paying customers and even become people you develop long-lasting business relationships with.

Hey Suprabhat,
Rapidly changing technology can make our website feel old and outdated. While sometimes a redesign might be ideal, we may not have the time or money to invest in such a large project. One of the most frustrating experiences for users of the web is waiting for a page to load for too long. With the rise of the mobile devices, people are accessing content all over the world on many different platforms. While browsing online at Starbucks or while watching TV on their laptop, they expect a fast result for the content that they want.
Our customers are already accustomed to following visual cues to determine which content is important to them. People across the Internet are getting smarter and faster at judging company websites. When they first visit our site they are easily able to pick out a generic stock photo that they have already seen elsewhere or that resembles the non-personal style of stock photography. Using stock photography can decrease trust and also stand out as generic and non-unique. Our headings and content should be driven by what our potential customers are looking for. Including keywords in our title is also very important for targeting our message and attracting the right audience. Eventually, thanks for sharing much interesting and informative thought with us.
With best wishes,
Amar kumar

Hello Suprabhat, good tips you shared,
I need your suggestion, How can i make Responsive Design on my website.
Please help me.
Hey Suprabhat (cool name btw), these are some very good points you make, especially having a website that loads quickly is very important for UX. I’ve written a post on UX also but from a different angle. For me, as a web developer the hardest thing is to get in the mindset of the user as I am often surprised by what users do on a website. Anyway, let me know what you think about the points made here
